The peak body for voluntary assisted dying health professionals

Supporting you to provide high-quality voluntary assisted dying care in Australia and New Zealand.

Our Role

Our story

VADANZ has been set up by health care professionals from across Australia and New Zealand who saw a need for an organisation to:

  • Support the growing community of multidisciplinary health professionals who make voluntary assisted dying possible
  • Give a strong voice to those us on the frontline to share our insights with decision-makers to make sure VAD continues to be a safe, accessible and sustainable choice for eligible patients long-term.

Our purpose as a peak body is to represent the voices of health care professionals so they can deliver evidence-based, high quality voluntary assisted dying care.
